Service Description

Our Open Gym sessions give you the freedom to train at your own pace in our supportive space. During these times, the gym is open for independent training—you bring your own plan, and we provide the environment and equipment. A coach or volunteer will always be present in the facility, happy to offer guidance if needed, but the focus is on giving you the space to move and lift in your own way. Volunteers and coaches might train themself or with others. You must book before arrival; we do not have a reception. We ask all members to respect the space and each other: no unnecessary banging, no overly loud music, and always return equipment clean and tidy. Together, we keep the environment safe, calm, and welcoming for everyone. ⸻ Disclaimer: By booking and attending Open Gym sessions, you acknowledge that you are training voluntarily and at your own risk. Coaches and volunteers are present in the facility but are not responsible for your training plan, progress, or personal safety. Please exercise within your limits, use equipment responsibly, and ask for guidance if unsure. ⸻ Decencies / Etiquette: • Respect others, the space and equipment fairly. • No unnecessary dropping or banging of weights. • Keep music to a respectful volume. • Wipe down and return all equipment after use. • Use the space mindfully—this is a supportive and calm environment.

Cancellation Policy

1. Booking & Payment All class bookings must be made in advance through our website or booking system. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Class prices and availability are listed clearly on each service description. Concession rates and community-funded places may be available — please contact us for more information. 2. Cancellations & Refunds Participant Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the class will receive a full refund or credit. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class are non-refundable, as your space cannot be reallocated. Class Cancellations by Lift & Empower: If a class is cancelled by us (e.g., instructor illness or unforeseen circumstances), participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another session. 3. Attendance & Conduct Please arrive on time to allow the class to begin promptly. Late arrivals may not be permitted for safety reasons. Respect and kindness are central to our community. Please treat coaches, participants, and the space with care. Follow all safety and class instructions provided by your coach or instructor. Lift & Empower CIC reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone whose behaviour is unsafe or disruptive. 4. Health & Safety Participation in any class is voluntary and at your own risk. Please inform your instructor of any injuries, health conditions, or physical limitations before the class starts. Always listen to your body — if something doesn’t feel right, stop and let your instructor know. Lift & Empower CIC and its instructors are not liable for any injury or loss sustained during participation. 5. Photography & Media Occasionally, photos or short videos may be taken during classes for social media and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please inform your instructor before the session. 6.
